Philip Engelman has over the years been involved in different types of employment disputes. He has been heavily involved in major equal pay cases, but also undertakes more general cases relating to unfair dismissal, restrictive covenants, injunctions and similar matters.

He is the author of ‘Commercial Judicial Review’ and has been involved in many such cases. These have included matters relating to education, health, community care, planning, public funding, transport, doctors, nurses, lawyers and accountants.

He regularly advises on issues concerning contracts and businesses. He has dealt with such matters as the interpretation of contracts relating to the forthcoming Olympic Games; the meaning of insurance policies and their application to fire, theft and flooding.
